If I could go back in time and visit the Middle Ages, I would do it in a heartbeat. Although, I probably wouldn't stay too long, considering the lack of clean water and general non-existence of hygiene products (they used twigs as toothbrushes)--not to mention I'd have to bring my own supply of insulin. In lieu of time travel, I love to experience the Middle Ages through Renaissance Fairs, Medieval Times shows, dressing up as a knight (yes, I have my own tunic and battle-ready hand-and-a-half sword), and reading/writing about the time period in both fantasy and non-fiction.
